Reauthorise Social Accounts in Metasocial

How to Re-Authorise Your Social Accounts? 

While using Metasocial, you may encounter errors such as: 
 
– You are not able to connect the account with Metasocial. 
– You may not be the admin of that Page or Group. 
– You can’t see all your Pages. 
 
In these cases, simply reconnecting the account won’t resolve the issue. You will need to re-authorise the account with Metasocial to restore functionality.

How to Re-authorise Your Facebook Account? 

There are different ways to re-authorise a Facebook account – one for Facebook Page and one for Facebook Group. 

Facebook Page 

Here is how you can re-authorise a Facebook account: 
 
1. Start by logging into your Facebook account. 
2. Click on this link: Facebook Business Tools Settings. 
3. Find Metasocial in your list of connected apps. 
4. Select the checkbox next to Metasocial and click on the Remove button. Leave the checkbox unticked to retain necessary data, then confirm by clicking Remove. 
5. Go back to Metasocial and navigate to Connect Account > Connect Facebook Pages. 
6. During the connection process, ensure that you accept all access permissions requested by Metasocial. Additionally, make sure that the App Visibility status is set to ‘Public/Friends’ rather than Only Me. 

How to Re-authorise Your LinkedIn Account? 

If you encounter issues with LinkedIn on Metasocial, follow these steps to re-authorise your LinkedIn account: 
 
1. Go to your LinkedIn account and click on your profile image. 
2. Click on Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu. 
3. In the left sidebar, click on Data Privacy and then go to Other Applications. 
4. Remove Metasocial from Permitted Services: 
   – Under Permitted Services, locate Metasocial in the list of apps. 
   – Select Metasocial and click on the Remove button. 
5. Reconnect LinkedIn to Metasocial: 
   – Return to Metasocial, go to Manage Accounts, and click on the Reconnect button for your LinkedIn account. 

How to Re-authorise Your Pinterest Account? 

To re-authorise your Pinterest account with Metasocial, follow these steps: 
 
1. Start by logging into your Pinterest account. 
2. Click on the profile icon in the upper-right corner of Pinterest and select Settings from the dropdown menu. 
3. In the left-hand menu, click on Apps. 
4. Find Metasocial in the list of authorised apps. 
5. Click on Revoke Access to remove Metasocial. 
6. Go back to Metasocial, navigate to Manage Account, and click on the Reconnect button. 
7. During the connection process, ensure you accept all access permissions requested by Metasocial. 
 
Additional Steps: 
 
– If you have recently changed your Pinterest username, go to Metasocial and refresh your connection. 
– Navigate to Manage Accounts > Edit Pinterest Board > Reconnect. 
– Reconnecting one of the boards will refresh the connection for the rest of the boards from that account. This ensures Metasocial maintains appropriate access to your Pinterest account, preventing any disruptions in scheduling and publishing. 

How to Re-authorise Your Twitter Account? 

If you need to re-authorise your Twitter account, follow these steps: 
 
1. Log into your Twitter account and access Connected Apps. 
2. Click on this link: Twitter Connected Apps. 
3. On the right-hand side, you will find a list of apps you have allowed access to. 
4. Locate Metasocial in the list and revoke its access. 
5. Return to Metasocial and reconnect your Twitter account. This will restore the connection, allowing you to manage your Twitter posts as before.
